Global “green chemicals” trend is shifting towards the environmental friendly “green products”. Traditional bio-refinery (i.e. bio-ethanol plant) is generally geared toward production of ethanol or fuel additives for transportation purpose. By expanding our vision, G.I. Dynamics found tremendous possibilities of utilization of bio-ethanol beyond powering our engine. Bio-ethanol can also "drive" our chemical industry toward sustainability and deliver high performance.
Ethanol based, Bio-Ethylene proven technology provided by G.I. Dynamics helps to shape BIO downstream products and enlarges the possibility for Bio-diversification.
The feedstock (ethanol) used by our technology does not have any restriction in respect with to biomass source; it can be 1st gen., 2nd gen. or 3rd gen ethanol, our technology creates flexibility in sourcing the ethanol. Ethylene is one of the most important building blocks of petrochemical industry. The renewable Ethanol based, bioEthylene™ enables a wide variety of ‘green’ end-uses such as polyethylene for 'green' food packaging and a variety of consumer and industrial applications.
Ethanol based, Bio-Ethylene Technology has been independently acknowledged as the most energy efficient and cost effective solution available to manufacture Ethylene from renewable Ethanol. It also has a lower capital cost than the competition and provides a lower operational cost by consuming far less energy and providing higher selectivity.
Ethylene is one of mostly used building block in the chemical industry allowing to produce Products :
