Terreco's main activity is the effective, sustainable and economical remediation of contaminated soil. The technology it uses is designed to clean contaminated soil entirely by natural methods. Both soil and ground water are treated exclusively through biological activity. The contaminants are biodegraded and converted into water and CO2. The result is clean soil to which life has been restored.
A unique in-situ technology will be applied: PuriSoil®, to clean up large contaminated areas in a single operation. We carry out the entire process, from preparation to remediation, inspection and hand-over of the clean soil. Terreco's approach is almost always cheaper than other methods of remediation. Hiring an independent engineer agency is only necessary for the verification of the remediation result.
Industrial Sites and Housing Estates
The technology employed,can be used anywhere, including contaminated industrial sites and housing estates built on polluted ground. No installations, houses or other buildings have to be demolished so there is no disruption to everyday life. There is no need for major excavation or complex cleanup processes. It has been demonstrated in practice that the technology can clean soil at depths of more than 40 metres without any problems.

Ecological Solutions that Make Economic Sense
Due to the unique pricing concept of the PuriSoil® technology, the cost of a PuriSoil® remediation project will normally be lower than that of a project based on other methods
The PuriSoil® Technology:
PuriSoil® is an eco-friendly technology. At the site that has to be cleaned up pipes are inserted in the ground to a depth lower than the contaminated layer of soil. Air is then injected into the soil through the pipes. A specially developed bio-active material (PuriSoil starter) is mixed with the top layer of soil. As the air flows upwards through the soil it carries the contaminants to the surface. In this bio-active zone the pollution is completely and very effectively broken down and converted into CO2 and water
Fixed Price
For any remediation project, a client can determine beforehand whether PuriSoil® is more cost-effective than other remediation technologies. At the client's request, a remediation plan and a fixed price. This means ther will be no budget overruns and the client immediately knows what to expect in financial terms.
Performance Guarantee
Wherever possible, we will guarantee that it will achieve the remediation performance previously agreed with the client. This performance is assessed by an independent environmental agency. The performance guarantee and the fixed price offer the client maximum certainty.
